She had been so brave, so strong.
Caring, loving to her kin;
Their protector. Sheltering them from the evils of this world.
A warrior ready to defend her home.
Queen of her empire, her land.
Loved by all was beauty.
A childhood friend had won her heart,
And so became her king.
Their lives had seemed enchanted.
Then illness struck her down with might.
It seemed her life was soon to end.
But she fought back with valour.
Defeated was that evil curse.
‘Twas like a dream come true.
Those she loved stuck by her side.
They beat her horrid aliment, as one.
This would seem like the end of her tale.;
The happily ever after.
But, as in life, things aren’t so sweet,
I must say what is real.
After this her life was perfect,
But perfect it could not stay.
True wickedness flew over the castle walls.
Bringing suffering and pain.
She fought the heartless devil back,
And so the demon fled from her land.
Because of her brave fight,
All those for whom she cared were safe.
Her kin and all in her kingdom were sorrowful that night.
Her king would never love again,
Though he tried to move on.
She left this world forever.
She died
Protecting her home from evil.
But she shall live on in the hearts she touched,
In the minds of those who read this tale.
Perhaps in the leaves of time she will be forgotten.
But have faith that her deeds were not in vain,
And have hope that she will be remembered.
Pray that in years to come
Some may speak,
Of Bell.
Our beautiful Warrior.
(I wrote a little story, thing, that wasn't exactly as poetic as most of my posts but still just as [or more] meaningful. Therefore I'm leaving it as a stand alone piece. And yes, it is based [very loosely] on true events)
