You were in my thoughts

When I realised,

That I’d seen a sparkle,

In your eyes.

I never took you seriously.

I always played around.

I didn’t think you’d look twice at me,

Didn’t know what I had found.

I don’t know what you saw in me,

Or if it’s just a dream.

But when I see you look at me,

You don’t just smile,

You beam.
